Every year, Florida architects visit lawmakers and policymakers in their offices in Tallahassee to advocate for issues, pass out AIA Florida posters and make connections that will improve the practice of architecture in the state. Your involvement is critical to the success of AIA Florida's advocacy efforts. Make plans to join us at the Capitol on Jan. 27.

January 26, 2026

5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Student Reception at AIA Florida Headquarters located at 104 E. Jefferson St., Tallahassee, FL

January 27, 2026

8:30 -  10 a.m. - Legislative Day Briefing at Challenger Learning Center located at 200 S. Duval. This is a NEW location from previous years. It is also on top of the Kleman Plaza Parking Garage across from our previous meeting location.

10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Legislative Day Visits and War Room located in 231 Senate Office Building open. The AIA Florida headquarters will be open with snacks during this time.

4:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Legislative Day Reception at AIA Florida Headquarters located at 104 E Jefferson St.

A block of rooms has been reserved at Aloft Downtown Tallahassee located at 200 N. Monroe Street for January 26 through January 28. The room rate is $289 plus tax. You may reserve your room HERE.
