PENSACAN
Calling all CANchitects and CANgineers! Assemble your build team and help us Demolish Hunger, Design Hope in this year's PensaCAN competition. PensaCAN is a competition where teams create impressive structures made entirely out of full cans of food. Following a week-long display of the structures and voting, all food is then donated to Manna for distribution to our neighbors in need in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Registration is open to ANYONE...architects, intern architects, engineers, designers, contractors, local businesses, professors, teachers, students, or anybody, anywhere, that wants to form a team and help the local community. Do not have a team but still want to build? Register as an individual and we will match you up with a team! The display and on-site location is the Cordova Mall, but off-site and digital builds can take place anywhere (just follow the directions/requirements on the Info Packet Coversheet and Judging Guidelines). Awards will be presented in eight categories. | Not a builder but still want to help? Great sponsorships are available or you can make a donation HERE (use the "in honor of" field and type "PensaCAN"). We set a record with the equivalent of over 19,000 meals donated. Help us break 20,000+ this year! |

Why Choose Natural Stone? With so many building materials on the market today, this course will remind you why architects and designers keep choosing natural stone for their projects. Throughout history, we've seen natural stone in iconic structures symbolizing strength and permanence. New materials strive to mimic its beauty, but genuine natural materials connect us with our planet and its future in a unique and undeniable way. Its inherent durability allows stone to perform impeccably in commercial and residential applications, interior or exterior. New technologies are also keeping stone a front runner with innovative interior design trends by introducing new textures and patterns.
