This session presents real examples of problematic emails written by design professionals that caused or exacerbated lawsuits. We will outline the “Seven Deadly Sins” of email practices for architects and engineers and will also lay out “Ten Heavenly Steps” to improve your project communication.
8 Key Contract Provisions
This session explores eight key contract terms through a four-part approach that explains the contractual concept, provides an example of the proper language to use, analyzes how deviations in the contract language can create risks, and concludes with negotiation talking points for design firms to use to support their position during contract negotiations.
