An explanation on vinyl manufacturing products and end of life opportunities. The presentation will evaluate the sustainable attributes of vinyl products from a life cycle prospective. It will also address vinyl misconceptions and introduce new opportunities for raw materials and recycling.
Learning Objectives:
-Define vinyl within the larger category of plastics
-Understand the history of vinyl and its attributes in the building industry
-Understand the progress the vinyl industry has made in raw materials, manufacturing processes and end of life opportunities
-Discuss vinyl flooring recycling capabilities
Ginger is based out of Fairhope, AL and travels throughout the Panhandle, Central Alabama, Mississippi and into New Orleans, Louisiana.
