The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Pensacola will host a series of Interactive Public Workshops (called a “Charrette”) to receive community input to help prepare Urban Design Guideline Overlays for CRA neighborhoods not located in a Special Review District. This unique forum gives all members of the public the opportunity to participate and engage and provide immediate feedback in our process for preparing overlay guidelines to help preserve the livable and walkable character of CRA neighborhoods and their traditional neighborhood environment.
The Charrette will consist of four (4) full days of community input sessions, scheduled focus sessions and open house drop-in opportunities. The Charrette will be held during the period February 12-15 at Sanders Beach/Corinne Jones Resource Center, 913 South I Street, Pensacola, FL 32502 on the specific dates and times and at the locations listed below.
The CRA’s consultant, a team from DPZ/CoDesign, will facilitate the Charrette, along with CRA staff. The input of participants is a vital and valuable contribution to preparing and proposing the Urban Design Guideline Overlays applicable to future development in the CRA neighborhoods.
