Integrating Aquatics Seamlessly Into Design
Lesson 1: Sustainable Design of Systems
Objective: Class participants will be able to define and learn to apply different aspects of aquatic construction by utilizing classroom presentation and material samples.
Lesson 2: Reduction of Carbon Footprint
Objective: Participants will learn applicable methods of carbon reduction in reference to aquatics development by using classroom presentations and reviewing existing projects.
Lesson 3: Computational Fluid Dynamics
Objective: Class participants will be able to apply fluid mechanics algorithms to improve the efficiency and sustainability of aquatic structures.
Lesson 4: Structural Integrity in High Seismic Zones
Objective: Participants will be able to define and apply aquatic building techniques used in high seismic zones through classroom presentation, material samples and existing project diagrams and charts.
Lesson 5: Advanced Waterproofing Techniques
Objective: Class participants will be able to utilize course material, including product samples, to improve construction methods across the aquatic building & design framework.
Lesson 6: Project Systems Integration
Objective: Participants will be able to combine many levels and types of aquatic structures and projects in order to develop a diverse product scope.
