Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Familiarize yourself with the features and benefits of metal roofing. The course provides an overview of the various materials and applications for painted metal roofing. Participants will learn about the types of metals used in the roofing process as well as their appropriate application. We will discuss the different coatings used on painted metal roofing. Various case studies and product comparisons will illustrate the advantages and disadvantages of each of these coatings. In addition we will review a variety of profiles in both roofing and wall panels and the difference between Architectural and Structural panels. Including are applications for the snap lock and mechanically seam versions of these panels. Audiences will have the opportunity to see a number of detailed drawings depicting typical flashing sheet metal installation. Last, we will review projects that have utilized metal architecture to show the versatility of the applications.

Any non-member attending will be charged $15 for cost of lunch. 

Registration for the event is required, any member who wishes to attend and did not register for the event will be charged $10 for lunch.
