CivicCon: SCAPE Design - Community Introduction

Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive response to last year's CivicCon visit by Gena Wirth and the team at SCAPE Design, they are returning for a second visit, and you are invited.

As you may recall, the SCAPE Design team held a community brainstorm on projects that would make downtown's waterfront more resilient and accessible. They also toured the waterfront and developed some conceptual drawings of ways to optimize the waterfront. (Here is a great video capturing their first visit here.)

Now the SCAPE Design team is returning to Pensacola for the first CivicCon event of 2019 to build on their previous work, and they want to update you on their upcoming plans and priorities.

SCAPE Design - Community Introduction

This five-month, privately-funded project builds on the SCAPE visit from last year and will identify specific projects and suggestions to make Pensacola's waterfront more resilient and more accessible for the community.

During this presentation, the SCAPE team will recap their past visit and ideas, share with you their process for the next steps of their work, and will take your questions and suggestions for ways to protect and enhance our waterfront for generations to come.
