Dry It In: High Performance Wood-Framed Roofs

An overview of current practices and materials being used in today's construction industry to build wood-framed roofs. Specific focus will be placed on various roof underlayment types and their applications. Study will primarily discuss factors which affect the use of proper roof underlayment based off of the requirements by the International Building and Residential codes for finished roof coverings and environmental loads. A short discussion will be on the typeds of construction that wood-framed roofs are acceptable.
