AIA NW Florida Celebrates 2013 Accomplishments at Annual Meeting and Recognizes Honor and Design Award Winners
On Feb. 20, AIA Northwest members gathered at Tiger Point Country club for the annual business meeting. During the meeting, the 2014 Board of Directors was installed and new President, Kelly Wieczorek, AIA gave a brief overview of the chapter's accomplishments in 2013 as well as events planned for the upcoming year, recognized new members, recently licensed members, and new allied member companies, paid tribute to members laid to rest in the past year and recognized those who have supported the chapter through events and as ARE instructors. Additionally, Wieczorek recognized Mark Essert, AIA with a Presidential Citation for his continued extraordinary efforts in the organization of the chapter’s gingerbread contest.
Following the meeting portion of the evening, State Director Christopher Kariher, AIA took over as emcee to present the 2013 Honor and Design Awards.
